About this assessment
The assessment is 24 items spread evenly across four reasoning families and three difficulty bands, drawn from a much larger bank against a fixed blueprint. That blueprint is what makes a retake meaningful: you get DIFFERENT questions but the identical structure — never easier, never harder — so two attempts are directly comparable. The result is reported as an estimated range plus a per-family breakdown rather than a single number, and it is not a substitute for any formal psychological assessment.
Method
- Fixed blueprint: 4 reasoning families × 3 difficulty bands × 2 items = 24 questions. Items are drawn by a seeded, controlled random process, so every attempt can be reproduced exactly.
- Scoring is weighted by difficulty (easy 1 · medium 1.5 · hard 2), then mapped onto the familiar mean-100 / SD-15 scale through an anchor table published openly in the source.
- This is NOT a standardised or clinically validated IQ test. No population norming sample stands behind the number; the result reflects only how you did on these 24 specific items.
- Every attempt stores the test, question-bank and scoring versions it ran under. A historical result keeps the figures it was scored with and is never recomputed under a newer algorithm.
This is an online reasoning assessment. It is not normed against a population sample and it is not clinically validated. The figure shown is an estimated RANGE, mapped from how you did on these 24 specific items through a publicly documented anchor table. Results move a great deal with tiredness, interruptions and familiarity with the format, and they are not a substitute for any professional psychological assessment.
